you know actually i'm a bit jealous : sometimes i think i have no style at all. i'm always trying new stuff but i dont have a style so people recognize my work just when they have a look at it :/

You do have a style because you always do good work. Trying things is most of the fun so we definitely agree on that. And, what my icon says is true - the most important part is to try.

btw may i ask what means the quote in your icon ? i tried to translate it with my dictionnary but i kinda failed lol, and as you use it often, i'm more and more curious about it !

I am off on Friday this week so half way through - hooray!
The quote can be understood many ways but it actually comes from the TV show "Northern Exposure". Here is the story - one of the characters named Chris wanted to make some original "art". He wanted to use a trebuchet (giant slingshot) to fling a cow into the air. He searched and searched for a cow that was just right. When he found that cow, one of the other characters (Ed) told Chris that it would be just like in Monty Python - that they had already flung a cow. Chris was extremely depressed because he would not have his original art. He was walking through the ruins of a house that had just burned down and saw a half burned piano. The entire town came out to watch in awe as Chris flung the piano using the trebuchet. It was a beautiful, poetic experience for all of them. So, "it is not the thing you fling, it is the fling itself."

To me it means that making art is more important than what the art is. Good or bad doesn't matter. It is the creation that matters and that is where the joy is.

Yes - the show was a little strange and so is the clip if you haven't seen the entire show. Not surprised that you don't have it in France. Yes, of course I made the icon. The only one I use that I haven't made is this one (because it reminds me of my grandmere).
