Can't Sleep, Totally Random Post

I have some new people on my f-list but the truth is that I don't post anything other than icons very often. Probably for the best :-).

I am changing my default user pic every few days between now and the new year. Don't be confused as they are all equally tacky and glittery. Beware of motion sickness.

I took down some of my old headers and have a couple of new ones - Sliders (also through the wormhole of course) and tacky Christmas Dusty over Atlantis. Dusty is the Mary Sue of dogs. If you don't know, they rotate - you will have to hit F5 a bunch of times to see them.

I will have some time to make some stuff in the next few weeks even though agonizing over sg1_lims keeps me busy. More trying to figure out which icon won't get me voted out than making them. Anyway, if there are any request for icons, let me know and help me out with caps if it isn't one of my regular fandoms.

I have a few Heroes icons that I need to post sometime.

That's it. Icon post likely on Friday.

i was just having this conversation with my roomie. Jonas got the shaft after he was let go. Seriously, all the alternate sg-1's and not one with jonas? really stargate producers? ps, he was on csi miami tonight, with really long hair that did NOT suit him at all. Bring back military-ish Jonas!

It would have been great to have seen Jonas in one of the alternate SG-1's. I thought he got the shaft because (more heresy here) Shanks couldn't make it anywhere else at the time and decided to come back to Stargate. I think they could have kept Jonas but since he and Daniel had similar skills they wrote him off the show. More Jonas.

I am afraid that the look on CSI Miami is more the real Corin. If you saw his interview on Gateworld he had the same stringy long hair and of course lost all his muscle mass once he left Stargate. It might be better for his career to go back to the "leading man" look, that we know he can really pull off. Sigh.

I love Jonas. I enjoyed his dynamic with the team that was quite different than Daniel (who everyone knows is not exactly my favorite character - all angsty, rescue me, smarter than you.) I actually would have been happy to keep Jonas with guest appearances by Daniel - oh the heresy. I would like to see him back but he didn' fit into the Atlantis world. Season 6 was one of my favorites for several reasons. Too bad it was he first season with not so much Jack.

Yes - maybe we can oust Daniel from the next moving and replace him with Jonas. Wouldn't that burn a few people?

I agree with you. It was a nice refreshing change that (at the time) the team needed. A pity I didn't realize it until much later, which made me cherish my sixth season all the more.
