Date: 2008-06-25 11:16 am (UTC)Doctor Who is much lighter but as you realize, with a lot of history and backstory. It is much more a children's show than Torchwood but can be pretty scary.
I actually had recorded the Spacey Awards on my DVR so I used my own, but that is the same broadcast. I used this tutorial (http://paintmespotless.livejournal.com/16263.html).
