Annual Icon Numbers and Worst of the Year

casettIs it another year already? You know I like to count - mainly because I have worked with mathematicians and engineers for over 20 years. So here are my icon numbers for 2010 and my annual tradition of reposting the worst icons I have made in the past year.
Total Icons: 1602 (down from 2084 in 2009) I'd like to say that was because I am more discerning but you'll see from the worst that is not the case. I think it is because I have taken on lots of banner-making duties. Plus, of course, my addiction to Frontierville. And, it isn't because I am under less stress - definitely not the case :D
Here's the breakdown:
Stargate Atlantis - 368
Stargate SG-1 - 346
Doctor Who - 224
Supernatural - 143
Torchwood - 121
Alice - 103
Actors - 43
Fringe - 30
White Collar - 25
SGU - 25
Mentalist - 18 (I dropped out of that contest)
Burn Notice - 12
Various others (5-10 of each) - 145
I entered 423 contests (whew!) and if I didn't enter yours every week, I just couldn't. I have to make some choices to keep sane. And, since I have iconned just about every cap from SGA and SG-1, I may slow down a bit on those fandoms this year (I will never stop though - it is in my blood).
Last year's numbers for those who are really geeky :D

Lots of contenders this year!
A cheezy texture can't make up for bad composition and poor blending (even if cheezy is my middle name!) And, I found two of these!!! eeek.
Yep - it isn't your eyes (although you may be scratching at them after looking at this) - it is blurry, the color is bad and so is the contrast.
People always tell me they like my text but this one is epic fail. It should have said "Allons-y". But what does that matter when it looks like a black and white blob - no contrast and bad composition.
Run away, run away now. Bad contrast and what the heck made me think that this looked good. (At least I stayed with the theme of "red")
OMG - sorry David - you are much better looking than this, in better focus and have a human skin tone.
An experiment in light and dark that went horribly wrong. Horrible. I managed to make Joe Flanigan look less than beautiful - didn't think it possible.
Memo to self - red is bad. No red. EVER!!!!
Booooooring. And out of focus. And bad color. And, I'm sooooo sorry.
There are lots more - but I have done as many as I can take right now.
If you notice some of my icons are gone and replaced with "Don't Steal Bandwidth" - it is because someone is. Just replacing to teach them not to do that. Evil laugh.
