My sweetie and I will be leaving on Tuesday morning for the Stargate Convention in Vancouver. One more work day then I am outathere. Looking forward to a nice vacation and lots of fun!

I want more Stargate people to come to Dragon*Con. So far, only Paul McGillion has confirmed. I guess I should feel lucky that I can go to D*C, but it would still be nice for more people (at the very least, more Atlantis people) to show up.

Oh, I'll have fun for sure!!!

I expect it is difficult at a general conference like Dragon*Con to get too many people from a single show. They are bigger but have many more fans to satisfy. I went to a con in Toronto last year to see Rachel Luttrell and Cliff Simon (and Gareth David-Lloyd) and the room was almost empty for everyone but Rachel. I hope they will get a few more people from Stargate though for you.

There are about 5 or 6 Farscape people that have confimed, so my friend and I are holding out hope that we can at least get Ben Browder and Claudia Black out of that. Quite a few Battlestar Galactica people, original and newer one, so we're hoping that since Atlantis ended this year, they'll have a big Atlantis contingent.

GDL was at D*C last year. The friend I'm going with got to meet him, the lucky so-and-so!
