What have I been doing?

Well - I made a new header and posted it last week. I have rotating headers so if you really want to see it, you will have to hit F5 a whole lot of times or keep coming back until it pops up (insert **evil laugh**)

Posted a batch of SGA icons. I am in mourning for SGA even though it is still on the air. I am also pissed at the producers, studio and U.S. channel because it seems they would rather have new, younger fans and now take the long-time supporters for granted. Doesn't seem like a good business practice to me.

I got eliminated from SG-1 Lims this week. A bit relieved actually - the icon makers that are left just kick ass every round.

So as not to be too relieved, I made a committment to plusone_rumble, a Doctor Who icon contest with a 10-week run (if I am accepted). Yes I am nuts. Anyone else want to join?

Just so you know, I actually did go and hit F5 a bunch of times to see the new header. :D I think they're all fab, but I can't remember which is the new one. Anyway, my favorite one was the one with the TARDIS and the SUV.

I am still confused at TPTB, I think they alienated a lot of people and I know a lot of people who aren't going to watch the new show because of it. I 'll give it a chance cause it sounds kind of interesting. Still confused at the new, younger fans comment, I think they are shooting themselves in the leg.

I agree totally. There are some pretty loyal fans out there who have been watching for 11+ years, buy the DVD's and have invested in the show. But, I don't think Brad Wright cares about that - SciFi wants to hit a younger demographic. Oh, I'll still watch - my goodness I watched 90210 and the OC as an adult, it doesn't matter. But, I prefer if he had said they would continue to provide quality, intelligent entertainment for a wide audience. I didn't see that part.

Just wanted to say I thought your sg1_lims stuff has been terrific. Your icons were among my favorites many times. I particularly loved the Mondrian Teal'c, the Skaara close-up, and the latest one, the Jaffa/Tok'ra combo. Excellent stuff!

Thank you so much, that means a lot coming from a great icon maker like you! I am not to disappointed in being eliminated, although I didn't think that icon deserved it. I likely would have been gone next week. Just too many excellent artists left. I am not worthy.
