Yeah I guess I am ;) I'm just lazing about at my mom's house for a few days until my dad gets home from work, although unfortunately its too hot to be outside at the moment, I don't know about you but when It gets above 30 its a little to hot to be outside :D

I guess the hot weather is heading here then. Yes, over 30 is usually too hot to do much outside, especially here because it is humid.

Nothing wrong with lazing around the parent's place. That in itself is a good vacation! Enjoy the quiet time.

i remember what you told me before, about some people saying your icons are ugly. the problem is that there are always trends in the small world of icons, and if you dont follow them then you suck :/
it's stupid, i love to see diferent styles, i dont see anything interesting when i look at my friends page and it seems to me that it's the same iconmaker posting again and again. most of the time i dont look at the entry ! but when i see something diferent in the preview, then i want to see more.

You are not talking to much! I know exactly what you mean because I am in a lims right now (I survived to round 10 at least) but the comments are supposed to be based on skill and technique (I don't really have much but I get by.) Most of the technique comments are really personal preference ie. "too dark" or "little contrast and color makes it not very aesthetically pleasing". I think that technique is really what the voter prefers and how they justify it. I can't win (some icon makers have a style that wins these things) and have started to ignore the comments and instead of trying to win, I just submit what I like best. I'll be out in a round or two and I don't think I will go in a lims again. I am just too competitive. Now I am babbling!

Thanks as always for the nice comments. I always like to try different things but I am settling into a kind of, sort of style that I like!
