My sweetie and I are heading off to the U.K. tomorrow to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have been planning the trip for 5 years and it is finally here. I know the U.K. doesn't sound exotic to many of you but it is quite exciting for us. We'll be across the pond for 2 weeks spending time in London and on a bus trip to Stonehenge, Bath, etc., We will spend a day in Paris and a day in Cardiff as well as a day in Staines because my sweetie's dad is from there.

I may be able to check in as we just can't be disconnected but no icons for a while. Gotta fly!

Oh wow! That sounds like a fabulous trip :) I hope you enjoy your stay. Cardiff, eh? The invisible lift is the slab next to the one with the chunk out of it ;)
We've never been to the Bath area, we're thinking of doing that in Summer. It's a hotbed of fandom round there... Cardiff - Torchwood, Bristol - Being Human, Forest of Dean - Primeval, LOL!
Happy Anniversary!

Thanks! I know we will have a great time. Of course, we can't just spend time looking for sites from various shows (that's what my sweetie says but he still wants to look for the hidden cave near Glastonbury when they found Merlin's treasure in SG-1!). I don't know Being Human but I did see the first series of Primeval. I am so excited about the adventure.

That's awesome hun, enjoy your trip! Bath is quite nice, I did my canoeing instructors qualification course there a few years back. The only place England doesn't sound exotic is to people who live there but it has its good points.

Just beware of pigeons in London, they're evil!

Thanks so much! Yes, I don't think Niagara Falls is a big deal but I've seen it so many times. Thanks for the advice about the pigeons. I'll bring my hard hat.

Honey, you could take a trip to the backyard with the one you love and it'd still be exciting. ;)

Have fun, babe!
