I expect Ben grew the hair since filming as per what Jen has said above about not cutting his hair until he gets a role. I totally agree about Amanda though. I know she wanted to grow out her hair but it doesn't fit the role. If she wants long hair the whispies about her face make no sense for a military commander at work.
